ESI’s AI Solutions Architect will help lead the discovery, design, and early implementation of AI-driven solutions across our organization. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role focused on translating business needs into practical AI applications. This position will play a critical role in shaping our AI roadmap. This is a full time in-office role, based at our headquarters in Meridian, Idaho.

Responsibilities
-
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
-
Translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions using LLMs and related tools.
-
Design solution architectures and workflows for AI use cases.
-
Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language.

Prototype or guide early-stage AI implementations (proofs of concept).

Evaluate tools, platforms, and vendors in the AI ecosystem.

Assist in defining technical requirements and interviewing future engineering hires.

Act as a bridge between business teams and technical development.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Technology, or similar required.

1–2+ years working in or alongside AI/ML implementations required.

Experience in a company that has deployed AI solutions in real-world workflows is highly valued.

Demonstrated ability to deliver usable AI-driven products, tools, or workflows.

Experience managing Standard Operating Procedures and a Central Learning Management system.

Experience setting up/maintaining a CI/CD pipeline and software testing suites.

Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience working with at least one major LLM (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT).

Practical understanding of prompt engineering, workflows, or AI tool integration.

Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward execution.
- Ability to create and track Key Performance Indicators.
