Fixturing Foreman

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Fixturing Foreman with proven experience in retail build-outs and store remodels. This role oversees the on-site installation of retail fixtures, shelving systems, and casework, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fixturing crews in the installation of gondolas, shelving, checkouts, signage, millwork, and specialty displays.
  • Interpret and execute fixture plans, floor layouts, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure team productivity.
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, store personnel, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project flow.
  • Maintain adherence to client-specific standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks and punch list completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and job site cleanliness.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory on-site.
  • Provide training and mentorship to crew members and support their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in fixture installation, including leadership of crews.
  • Demonstrated experience working on retail projects for national retailers.
  • Ability to read blueprints, fixture drawings, and scope documents.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with tools and equipment related to fixture installation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently or work overnight shifts, as required by retail schedules.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • This position requires outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
  • The work environment’s noise level is usually loud.

Physical Demands

  • This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.
  • The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.
  • The ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a minimum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.
